Architectural historian Margaret Stewart introduces a short film entitled Loudoun, a documentary about landscape design in Scotland around 1700, and follows the screening with a talk on the making of the film. This is our annual joint lecture with Scotland’s Garden and Landscape Heritage.

 

Our Winter Lectures are hosted on Eventbrite’s Zoom app.

How to Join the Event
If you have already booked your ticket for this talk, you will find on the Eventbrite confirmation email a link to our online event page. On this page, there is a countdown to when the talk will start. 15 minutes before the talk starts you will see the “Join Now” button. Click or tap the button to join the talk.
Don’t worry if you’ve lost your confirmation email. You will receive reminder emails with the link to the event: 2 days before the talk and 10 minutes before we go live.

How to create an account on Zoom

If this is your first time using Zoom, we recommend downloading Zoom in advance of the meeting. If using a mobile phone or tablet you can download Zoom from the app store.

  • Open the browser of your choice on your Mac or PC and head to the Zoom website, download by clicking or tapping on the “Zoom Client for Meetings”. Once downloaded, open and create your account.
  • You can then join a meeting at the top of the screen. To join our lectures, you will be emailed the Meeting ID and passcode in advance of the talk.
